Lower limit of Georgian Defense Ministry’s budget to be defined by law

The lower limit of Georgian Defense Ministry's budget will be defined by law, according to the new draft law 'On defense of Georgia'.
The draft law has already been submitted to the country's parliament.
The annual budget of the country's Defense Ministry should be no less than 2 percent of GDP of the corresponding year, according to the draft law.
The draft law 'On defense of Georgia' also regulates the powers of the parliament, president, the State Security Council, government and local self-government bodies in the defense sphere.
