Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has signed a decree to appoint the deputies of the country's foreign minister.

David Dondua has been appointed Georgia's first deputy foreign minister, Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend on Nov.17.

Prior to this appointment, he served as the deputy state minister of Georgian for European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

Dondua worked as Georgia's envoy to the US in 1998-2000. He was Georgia's representative in NATO in 2000-2005.

Moreover, Gigi Gigiadze has been appointed Georgia's deputy foreign minister. He was the director of the Department of European Affairs at Georgia's Foreign Ministry in 2010-2012. Gigiadze has served as Georgia's envoy to Germany since 2012.

Khatuna Totladze has been appointed another deputy foreign minister. She has worked at Georgian Foreign Ministry since 2002. Totladze has served as the head of the Department of International Law at Georgian Foreign Ministry since 2012.

The other two deputies of Georgian foreign minister, David Jalagania and Vladimir Gurgenidze stayed in office.
