(Civil Georgia) - Three Georgian policemen were injured when their car was attacked by unidentified gunmen on August 7 near the village of Avnevi in the South Ossetian conflict zone, officials said.
Avnevi is a Georgian village located to the west of Tskhinvali, the breakaway regions capital, reports Trend.
State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Merab Antadze has decided to visit the conflict zone to study the situation on the ground, according to the State Ministers press office.
