Five people were killed and 25 injured when a bus overturned on the Dead Sea highway Thursday night, a senior official said Friday.
Unconfirmed reports said that Britons and Iraqis were among the casualties, DPA reported.
Among those injured was the Iraqi Minister of Sciences and Technology Raed Fahmi, a spokesman for the Public Security Directorate, Major Mohammad Khatib, said.
The occupants of the bus were Iraqi trainees attending a UN-sponsored course and their tutors.
