(dpa) - United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will visit Austria from April 25 to 27, officials in Vienna said on Wednesday.
According to the office of President Heinz Fischer, Ban will meet with the president and open new conference facilities at Vienna's UN headquarters.
The South Korean diplomat was ambassador in Vienna from 1998 to 2000, where he was particularly active at the international organizations based in the Austrian capital.
Ban's last official visit to Austria took place in February 2007.
