Brown to meet Bush in Washington for talks on economic crisis

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown will have talks in Washington Friday with US President George W Bush on the global financial crisis and international political issues, the government in London said Thursday, reported dpa.

Brown will travel to Washington for the unscheduled meeting from New York, where he is currently involved in talks at the United Nations on global poverty and the world economic crisis.

Friday's talks would also cover the issues of Iraq, Afghanistan and Georgia.
