Yemeni ambassador to Tehran and non-resident ambassador to Azerbaijan Jamal Abdullah al-Salal met on Saturday Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov, Yemeni News Agency Saba reported.
During the meeting, mutual cooperation ties, especially boosting parliamentary cooperation were discussed.
Asadov confirmed the importance of forming a Yemeni-Azerbaijani friendship committee.
On the other part, during his meeting with Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce Mahman Ahmadov, al-Salal held talks with him over cooperation ties between the two countries and private sector role in investment field in each of the two countries.
Al-Salal has presented a copy of Yemeni Investment Law which included a number of merits, facilities, services which provided by General Investment Authority in Yemen.
On his part, Asadov expressed his desire to visit Yemen as soon as possible to meet his counterparts in Yemen to get acquaintance with investment opportunities in Yemen.
