Anderlecht proved too strong for Welsh side TNS in the Champions League Tuesday, winning 3-0 in their third qualifying round second-leg tie to secure a 6-1 aggregate win, dpa reported.
Tom de Sutter opened the scoring before second-half substitute Romelu Lukaku netted a brace to secure the comfortable victory.
Kazakhstan champions Aktobe shocked Hapoel Tel Aviv last week with a 1-0 win, but were unable to repeat the feat in Israel, going down 3-1 to go out of the tournament 3-2 on aggregate.
First-half goals from Eran Zahavi and Ben Sahar set the Israeli champions on the road to victory, while an own goal from Khalifa Elhadj Ba ensured Hapoel led 3-0 at the break.
Murat Tleshev netted a last-minute goal for Aktobe to make it 3-1 but it was too little too late.
TNS and Aktobe now both drop into the Europa League.
The Champions League continues Wednesday with 13 more third qualifying round return-leg ties.
