Two people died and 13 others were injured after unknown people threw explosive devices Saturday night in Tumaco Port in Narino department, allegedly due to the drug trafficking revenge, official sources said on Sunday, Xinhua reported.

Two people died and 13 others were injured after unknown people threw explosive devices Saturday night in Tumaco Port in Narino department, allegedly due to the drug trafficking revenge, official sources said on Sunday, Xinhua reported.

Narino's Governor Antonio Navarro said that two people aboard motorbikes threw a cluster grenade against a store in Tumaco's center.

One policemen died and another was injured. The two were chasing the attackers before they threw the grenade.

A civilian also died after the grenade was thrown.

Navarro said that "Los Rastrojos" gang, who are fighting with other gangs to control the sales of drugs in the area, should be responsible for the attack.

He said that injured people were taken to a hospital in Tumaco and had already been discharged from the hospital.
