US actor Alec Baldwin was removed from a Los Angeles to New York flight Tuesday for continuing to play a game on his phone after passengers were told to shut down their electronic devices for take-off, the actor tweeted.
"Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving," the actor, 58, informed his followers as he was waiting to catch a later flight, dpa reported.
Celebrity website TMZ.com reported that Baldwin had been removed on the orders of the captain after he slammed the bathroom door because he was angry about being forced to end his Scrabble-like game.
