In 2018, 28 people were killed in the PKK attacks in Turkey, Trend reports referring to the country's Interior Ministry.
Among the dead, there was also an 11-month-old child, the ministry noted.
"Almost all of the killed civilians were residents of Turkey's eastern provinces," the ministry added.
The conflict between Turkey and PKK, which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state, has lasted more than 35 years, claiming more than 40,000 lives. PKK is recognized as a terrorist organization by the UN and the EU.
