Volume of Turkey's fruits, vegetables exports to Russia in January-September 2019 disclosed

In January-September 2019, Turkey's exports of fruits and vegetables to Russia decreased by 13 percent, compared to the same period in 2018, and amounted to 505,337 tons, a source at Turkey's Union of Exporters of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables told Trend.

According to the source, in January-September 2019, Turkey's exports of fruits and vegetables to Russia amounted to $412.365 million in monetary terms, which is 1 percent less compared to the same period in 2018.

The source also said that in January-September 2019, fruit exports from Turkey to Russia decreased by 17 percent, compared to the same period in 2018, and amounting to 236,247 tons.

During the reported period, Turkey exported $232.702 million worth of fruit to Russia, which is 5 percent less compared to the same period in 2018.

In January-September 2019, the export of vegetables from Turkey to Russia increased by 62 percent, compared to the same period in 2018, and amounted to 115,566 tons.

During the indicated period, Turkey's exports of vegetables to Russia amounted to $93.937 million, which is 84 percent more compared to the same period in 2018.

According to the source, during the reported period, the export of citrus fruits from Turkey to Russia decreased by 31 percent, compared to the first nine months of 2018, and amounted to 153,524 tons.

During this period, Turkey exported $85.726 million worth of citrus fruits to Russia, which is 30 percent less compared to the same period in 2018.

In January-September 2019, Turkey's exports of fruits and vegetables decreased by 19 percent, compared to the same period in 2018, and amounted to 2.235 million tons.

According to the source, from January to September 2019, Turkey's income from exports of fruits and vegetables decreased by 12 percent compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to $1.344 billion.

In January-September 2019, 864,346 tons of fruits were exported from Turkey, which is 6 percent less compared to the same period of 2018. During the indicated period, Turkey’s income from fruit exports decreased by 1 percent compared to the same period of 2018 and amounted to $638.402 million.

According to the source, in January-September 2019, Turkey's exports of vegetables decreased by 16 percent, compared to the same period in 2018, and amounted to 727.999 million tons. In January-September 2019, Turkey's vegetable exports amounted to $428.987 million, in monetary terms.

In the first nine months of 2019, Turkey exported 643,062 tons of citrus fruits, which is 40 percent less compared to January-September 2018. Meanwhile, Turkey's exports of citruses amounted to $277.126 million, in monetary terms.
