The value of export of cars from Turkey to Azerbaijan dropped by 16.5 percent in January 2021 compared to the same month of 2020, amounting to $9.08 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
According to the ministry data, Turkey's car exports to international markets for the reporting month went down by 5 percent compared to the same month of last year, making up $2.26 billion.
At the same time, car exports of Turkey accounted for 16.8 percent of the country's total exports.
Over the past 12 months (from January 2020 through January 2021), Turkey exported cars worth over $25.4 billion abroad.
