The Turkish ports handled over two million cars in 2021, Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
According to the ministry, Ro-Ro vessels delivered 790,274 cars to the Turkish ports last year.
Meanwhile, over 1.3 million cars were sent from the Turkish ports by Ro-Ro vessels.
The ministry also noted that the Turkish ports handled 207,797 cars in December 2021.
In the reporting month, Ro-Ro ships delivered 72,196 cars to the Turkish ports. At the same time, 135,601 cars were sent from the Turkish ports, added the ministry.
