A road accident occurred in the village of Asagi Altuj, Guba region, on May 18, killing five and injuring six people, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan reported in its statement released on Monday.
According to the statement, at 07:45 a 'RAF' car driven by the sergeant of 'N' military unit of the Chief Directorate of the Interior Ministry troops Seymur Aliyev, crashed into a tree on the roadside.
As a result, sergeant Seymur Aliyev and his passengers, sergeants Rashad Adygezalov, Ayaz Bayramov, Elmir Ismaylov, Alibek Ismiyev died at the scene, other passengers received injuries of varying degrees of severity. Three of them, Elnur Hasanov, Ruslan Musayev, Namig Isayev and Ismayil Aghalizadeh were hospitalized.
The fact is under investigation.
