Azerbaijan's accession to international conventions providing the transfer of Azerbaijani children born of mixed marriages, from one country to another will be discussed at a regular meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly (PA) of the OSCE in Monaco, the chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights Rabiyat Aslanova said at a press conference on Tuesday.

The provisions of the convention were discussed at a meeting of the Committee on Democracy and Human Rights in the 11th Winter Meeting of the OSCE in Vienna, Aslanova said.

The main issue of discussion in the committee was the issue of political prisoners in several countries, and no other issue related to Azerbaijan, has been, Aslanova said.
Statistics were provided in the report made at the meeting on torture in some countries in the OSCE area. No evidence of torture was revealed in Azerbaijan as a result of judicial and legal reforms" Aslanova said.

It was stressed that Azerbaijan protects the constitutional rights of national minorities during the discussion at the meeting on the protection of minority rights, Aslanova added.
