Egyptian opposition does not aim to seek resignation of President Mohammed Mursi, former head of the League of Arab States (Arab League) Amr Moussa said in an interview with Turkish Anadolu Agency.

Egyptian opposition does not seek resignation of President Mohammed Mursi, former head of the League of Arab States (Arab League) Amr Moussa said in an interview with Turkish Anadolu Agency.

"The political division in the country shows that the government is not able to govern the people and meet their demands," Moussa said.

He added that as long as no changes are made in some points of the country's new constitution, the opposition will have to hold dialogue with to the president.

Demonstrations, where tens of thousands of people are protesting against President Mursi, are underway cease in Egypt for already a few days. Protest actions are taking place in the country.

Mursi started political crisis by issuing a decree that temporary forbids challenging of his decision in court. Ordinary citizens and the judges, who went on strike, expressed their protest against Mursi's actions.
