An Azerbaijani delegation led by the country's Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov left for Slovakia for an official visit on Jan.26, said the ministry.
During the visit, Mammadyarov is scheduled to meet with Slovakian officials.
The sides will discuss the issues related to the expansion of the legal framework and cooperation in political, economic, cultural and other spheres.
Slovakian Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak paid an official visit to Azerbaijan in April 2013.
Azerbaijan's trade turnover with Slovakia stood at $19.1 million in 2014, according to Azerbaijan's State Statistical Committee.
