Signing of political declaration at the level of the heads of states is expected during the official visit to Azerbaijan of the President of Latvia Vaira Vike-Freiberga, the Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry told Trend.
Totally 6 agreements on cooperation are planned to sign between Latvia and Azerbaijan in the framework of the visit to Baku.
Among them the agreement in the field of the mutual protection and promotion of investments, on avoiding double taxation , in the economics, industry, culture, education and between the customs departments of the both countries.
Coordinating of the documents drafts, as well as the agenda of the visit is currently underway.
The visit of Vaira Vike-Freiberga is scheduled for 2-4 October.
