Joint sitting of the Azerbaijan Parliament’s (Milli Mejlis, MM) permanent commissions on economic policy, on the issues of security and defense, on the agrarian policy, on the issues of the legal policy and the state building, on the social policy, on the issues of science
and education, on the issues of natural resources, energy and ecology took place. The objective of the sitting was discussion of the draft law on the state budget of Azerbaijan for 2006, Trend reports.
The chairman of the permanent commission on economic policy Sattar Safarov who chaired the sitting, gave the floor to the MM deputy, the Finance Minister Azer Bayramov. After the deputy Minister informed the participants of the state budget for 2006, the commission members touched upon the issues on introducing some proposals and changes to the project.
After Bayramov replied the questions of the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov, deputy Asya Manafova and deputy Gudrat Hasanguliyev MM decided to introduce changes to the draft law.
