The US Congressional mission will be in Baku on October 12-13, the press service of the US Embassy to Azerbaijan told Trend.
The delegation members include Representative Darrel Issa, Republican of California, and Representative Loretta Sanchez, Democrat of California. The purpose of the visit is to hold consultations with high-level government officials, political leaders and energy representatives and to gain the better understanding of the pre-election situation in Azerbaijan.
On Thursday, October 13, there will be a news conference of the congressmen.
