PACE monitoring committee co-rapporteurs to visit Bosnia-Herzegovina

The co-chairs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) monitoring committee are on a visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The PACE Secretariat based in Strasbourg told Trend the co-chairs Naira Shahtakhtinskaya (Azerbaijan) and Kimmo Sasi (Finland) will hold monitoring in Brcko, Bania-Luka, Mostor and Sarajevo within 4 days.

They will estimate the progress achieved since the adoption of the previous monitoring report by the Assembly, in particular, in the issues concerning the functioning of the democratic institutes and implementation of national laws on education. The visit of the commission is to complete on 21 October.
