For observing the 6 November parliamentary elections the US Embassy to Azerbaijan will send delegations to Baku and various provinces of Azerbaijan, the US Embassy in Baku told Trend.
Besides, the Ambassador Reno Harnish will monitor the elections in various polling stations. He will also attend the Exit Poll Information Centre for watching the exit poll process, conducted by PA Consulting and funded by the US Agency for Development (USAID).
The US Embassy notes, after some hours on accomplishment of voting, at 19.00 PA Consulting will commence announcing preliminary results of the exit poll. They will cover 65 from 125 constituencies. 65 constituencies have been chosen by chance, for each of 125 constituencies to have equal opportunities in the exit poll. Since 10.00 a.m. on 6 November the exit-poll briefing centre for the media will function at the Landmark building.
