Four Iranian pilgrims, who departed for Mecca, died, head of Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization staff for Mecca city Masoud Mujarradi said, ISNA agency reported on Wednesday.
The pilgrims - three men and a woman were more than 60 years, Mujarradi said.
"The bodies of three pilgrims will be transported to Iran, one will be buried in Mecca," Mujarradi said.
According to him, half of the outgoing pilgrims (35,000 people) have already arrived in Mecca.
