Azerbaijan's First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and Vice-President of the Foundation Leyla Aliyeva have attended the opening of orphanage-kindergarten No 91 in Mardakan, Baku.
The orphanage-kindergarten was reconstructed on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Azerbaijan's First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the facility.
The orphanage-kindergarten was opened in 1963. The two-story facility has 10 groups for children from two to six years of age.
The kindergarten can handle up to 200 children. All necessary conditions have been created there for children.
Green areas were laid out and amusement facilities installed in the yard of the orphanage-kindergarten.
On behalf of residents, President Ilham Aliyev and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva were thanked for the work carried out in Khazar district, as well as the reconstruction of the orphanage-kindergarten.
