The delegation of the State Committee on work with the Azerbaijanis living abroad is currently in Georgia, the State Committee told Trend.
The Committee comprises 5 officials, planning to attend the places of the Azerbaijanis compact living in Georgia and to study the problems, related to the land reforms, the situation in the educational sphere and other problems.
The program of the visit envisions meetings not only with the Diaspora but also with the officials of these regions and representatives of the Georgian Parliament. The report on the conditions of the Azerbaijanis in Georgia will be made Рѕn the result of the visit.
It should be noted, that about 500,000 Azerbaijanis reside in Georgia. All of them are indigenous residents.
