Specialists of the international humanitarian organization Medicine non-Frontier will check up the results of examination and treatment of goiter-affected people in the northwest regions. The Greek embassy in Azerbaijan said that the 15-member delegation, comprised of doctors and specialists will arrive in Azerbaijan on 3 October.
During the tour of Sheki, Zakatala, Gakh, and Oguz districts of Azerbaijan they will examine the local people suffering from the disease, who received different medical aid under the special programs carried out by the organization. The patients will receive free medicine.
Since 1999 Medicine non-Frontier has rendered medical aid to the low-income people in need of medical services. Under the program implemented by the organization, thousands of children and old people received different medical aid.
