HIGH RELIGIOUS BOARD OF CAUCASUS INTENSIFIES EFFORTS IN FIGHTING RADICAL RELIGIOUS FORCES

The High Religious Board of the Caucasus Nations intensifies the efforts in fighting with the radical forces, Sheik-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade, the chairman of the Caucasus Clerical Board, told on Thursday a news conference dedicated to the results of the meeting of the Board recently held in Baku.

Pashazade said that the establishment of peace in Caucasus was a delicate issue.

Every nation of the Caucasus suffered from different manifestation of terrorism and separatism. He particularly noted the tragic development in Chechnya, Azerbaijan, Beslan. Realizing the responsibility and obligations to the nations we should unify our efforts for the achievement of peace and agreement in the Caucasus.

“We decisively condemn any manifestation of such anti-human aggression, separatism and terrorism,” he noted. Pashazade stressed that the selecting religious way the nations of the Caucasus undertook a responsibility to put every effort for unmasking such anti-nation forces.

The religious figures of the Caucasus also regard as necessary the attraction of the attention of leaders of Caucasus countries, to intensify the efforts in this direction. A resolution was adopted as a result of the Baku meeting of the High Religious Board.
