Azerbaijan's Emergency Situations Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov met with an Iranian delegation led by the country's Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh on Nov.27, Azerbaijan's Emergency Situations Ministry told Trend.
During the meeting, Heydarov said that the negotiations held and the documents signed on cooperation in various spheres during the reciprocal visits of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani laid the foundation of a new stage in the development of bilateral relations.
He added that the negotiations held on the development of bilateral cooperation in industrial security sphere during the visit of representatives of Azerbaijani Emergency Situations Ministry were fruitful as well.
Nematzadeh, for his part, thanked for the warm welcome and said there is great potential to develop the bilateral cooperation in the mining industry.
The sides also exchanged views on the issues of mutual interest.
