Two Turkish Airlines planes made an emergency landing at Istanbul's Ataturk airport July 8, the Turkish TV channel Kanal7 reported.
The reason for the forced landing of the aircraft carrying out Istanbul-Burkina Faso and Istanbul-Erbil flights became technical problems, according to the channel.
On July 7, an Istanbul-bound Turkish Airlines flight from Bangkok with 148 passengers onboard landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in the capital of India under full emergency conditions due to a bomb threat message written with lipstick on the mirror of one of the plane's washrooms.
