Azerbaijan announces tender for installation of pc network in court buildings

Azerbaijan's Justice Ministry has announced a tender for installation of computer network and related equipment (including UPS, stabilizers and generators) in selected Phase I courts and bailiff offices, said the website of the World Bank.

The tender has been announced as part of the Judicial Services and Smart Infrastructure project which is being implemented by Azerbaijan's Justice Ministry jointly with the World Bank.

The tender is open to all bidders which meet the following minimum qualification criteria:

- during the past three years, the bidder must have completed at least one contract with a value of at least $3 million equivalent to Azerbaijani manat or two contracts with a value at least $1.5 million involving the development, installation, and provision of technical support for information systems of similar functional and technical characteristics and of a comparable scale;

- minimum average annual turnover of $6 million equivalent to manat, calculated as total certified payments received from contracts in progress or completed within the last three years;

- demonstrated access to at least $1 million equivalent to manat, in liquid assets (e.g., bank balances, tradable securities, active lines of credit).

A pre-bid meeting which potential bidders may attend will be held on May 31, 2016 at 11:00 (UTC/GMT + 4 hours).

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Project Implementation Unit of the Judicial Services and Smart Infrastructure Project under the Ministry of Justice, Ahmed Gorchiyev, Procurement Manager,[email protected],[email protected] at the address below and inspect the bidding documents during office hours (9:00 to 18:00 hours) except weekend at the address given below.

The participation fee is 250 manats.

Bids must be delivered at or before July 12, 2016 15:00 (UTC/GMT + 4 hours). The amount of bid security required is $70,000. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend on July 12, 2016 15:01 of Baku time.

The attention of prospective bidders is drawn to the fact that they will be required to certify in their bids that all software is either covered by a valid license or was produced by the bidder.
