A delegation headed by CEO and Director General of the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) Khaled Al-Aboodi will visit Baku on Dec. 7, a source in Azerbaijan’s government told Trend Dec. 6.
The ICD head will take part in an international investment conference taking place in Baku Dec. 8, according to the source.
“This conference is the first and the largest event of this kind in Azerbaijan. It is aimed at attracting investments from Arab states,” the source explained.
The conference is organized by the ICD, Islamic Development Bank Group Business Forum, Azerbaijan Investment Company and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).
The event will be attended by more than 200 representatives and heads of state bodies, local and foreign companies, including KPMG, Dubai Chamber Trade Mission to Azerbaijan, Caspian International Investment Company and others.
