Azerbaijan’s metallurgical industry and enterprises on production of finished goods from metal produced goods worth 420.4 million manats in 2016, according to a report of the country’s State Statistics Committee.
The report says that the output volume of metallurgical industry increased by 0.3 percent and the production of finished goods rose by 24.9 percent in 2016.
Azerbaijan produced 223,000 tons of fittings in January-December 2016 that is by 5.3 percent more than in 2015. Steel pipe production stood at 53,500 tons in 2016 that is by 79.6 percent more than in 2015.
The volume of steel casting stood at 345,300 tons in the country in 2016 that is by 14.3 percent more than in 2015.
