Baku’s energy operator bought over 4 billion kw/h of electricity in first six months of 2013

"Bakielektrikshebeke" JSC (sale and distribution of electricity in Baku) bought about 4.4 billion kilowatt of electricity per hour from "Azerenergy" JSC (production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan's regions) in the first six months of 2013, which is almost equal to the figures of January-June, 2012, "Bakielektrikshebeke" told Trend on Saturday.

"Bakielektrikshebeke" JSC bought 8.55 billion kilowatt of electricity per hour in 2012, compared to nearly 8.21 kilowatt of electricity per hour in 2011. The volume of electricity bought by JSC, amounted to 7.92 billion kilowatt of electricity per hour in 2010.

"Bakielektrikshebeke" JSC paid on average for 94.6 percent of electricity provided by "Azerenergy" JSC in January-June 2013, compared to 94.3 percent in the same period of 2012.

"Bakielektrikshebeke" JSC paid on average for 93.6 percent of electricity provided by "Azerenergy" JSC in 2012, compared to nearly 92.2 percent in 2011. This figure amounted to 96.2 percent in 2010.
