OPEC oil basket's price stood at $38.05 per barrel on Apr. 15, or $0.53 less than on Apr. 14, the cartel told Trend April 18.
The OPEC Reference Basket (ORB) is made up of the following oil brands: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Minas (Indonesia), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
The global oil prices decreased April 18 amid the failure during Doha's negotiations on freezing the oil production by major exporting countries.
As of 11:55 (GMT +4) on Apr. 18, the price for June futures of the North Sea Brent oil mix decreased by 3.94 percent - to $41.4 per barrel, while the price for May futures of the WTI oil fell by 4.36 percent - to $38.6 per barrel.
