Negotiations on joining Kazakhstan to the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline construction project have entered the final stage, the Kazakhstan’s Ambassador’s advisor Bagdad Seybattalov told Trend.
В"The tariff issues are to be regulated at the present stage”, the Ambassador’s advisor noted, having underscored, that Kazakhstan plans to pump over 20 million tons oil through the BTC route. В"In future the figure will grow”, Seybattalov said, having noted, over 15 meetings aimed at discussing all details of the inter-governmental agreement at the experts’ level had been held.
In conclusion the diplomat noted, “the big oil from Kazakhstan will go through BTC route as early as of 2008”.
