The region's largest Tier 3 data center under construction in Baku, Azerbaijan will be commissioned in the first half of 2015, a source in the telecom market of Azerbaijan told Trend Jan. 26.
The work for the construction of the data processing center is in its final stage. Its building is located on an area of 1,000 square meters.
The Tier 3 data centers can operate stably in case of failure of any node and have the availability of 99.985 percent.
Here the matter rests in a data center durable to disasters, the customers of which can be confident that their data is safe.
All the details that can cause negative effects, including natural disasters, location, fault tolerance, power and others are taken into account during the construction of such data centers.
It will be the first such data processing center operating in the region. With the growth of needs, the data center's capacity will be increased.
The center will also render services to region's countries and the world's largest companies such as Google, Facebook and others.
