Sumgait Technologies Park in Azerbaijan has launched the production of new "One Point" payment terminals, Trend was told by the park's management.

The project is implemented jointly with RCom company, which develops software for the terminals.

"We used to make only the hardware part of the payment terminals, however the cooperation with RCom allowed us to provide customers with a finished product, with an integrated software platform," said the management.

The main difference between payment terminals is the flexibility of their work and different methods of payment. The terminals accept both coins and notes, as well as give change. Furthermore, can be equipped with a slot for reading biometric passports, printing tickets, and so on.

Currently, STP's terminals are operated by Expressbank (ExpressPay) to pay for utilities, fixed and mobile services, Internet, cable television.

Such terminals as eManat by Modenis company and MilliON by Komtec company are also presented in the market today. They are installed in public places (business centers, lounges of stations and airports, shopping malls, etc.).
