The Iranian Tobacco Company will open an outlet in Lebanon in the nearest future, IRNA reported with reference to the company's deputy director Ahad Kheiri.
The Iranian Tobacco Company is greatly welcomed by consumers in the Persian Gulf and in the Middle East, he noted.
The company plans to set up other outlets in different countries in the future, he added.
According to the managing director of the Iranian Tobacco Company, it is planned to produce about 46 billion cigarettes in the country by the end of the current year, which began on March 21.
Nearly 63.8 million cigarettes were smoked in Iran last year.
