SOCAR plans to increase third-party oil sales

By late 2010, the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) plans to increase third-party oil sales through its subsidiary, SOCAR Trading. SOCAR hopes to increase their share in its total oil sales to 20-25 percent, an inside source told Trend.

By late 2010, the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) plans to increase third-party oil sales through its subsidiary, SOCAR Trading. SOCAR hopes to increase their share in its total oil sales to 20-25 percent, an inside source told Trend.

SOCAR Trading sells third-party oil products in addition to the company's own oil.

The company is working actively to increase its oil and oil product sales, as well as the oil products of third-party countries, such as Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Venezuela and Nigeria.

SOCAR Trading has offices in Geneva, Singapore, Vietnam and Nigeria.
