By Daniar Mukhtarov - Trend:

The flight recorders of the Su-27 fighter jet that earlier crashed in Kazakhstan's Almaty Province, have been found, the Defense Ministry of Kazakhstan said Sept. 25.

"Two flight recorders were found Sept. 25 at the crash site of the Su-27," the ministry said in a message. "One of them is a recorder of flight parameters, that is, the technical condition of the aircraft, and the second one is a voice recorder."

The ministry said that additional information will be provided following the completion of the work of a special commission.

The Su-27 fighter jet of Kazakhstan's Air Force crashed Sept. 23 when it was conducting training flights.

Both of the jet's pilots were killed in the accident, and their corpses were found a day after the disaster.

Kazakhstan's Defense Ministry has not yet announced preliminary versions on the causes of the accident.

A special commission was set up to find out the reasons of the disaster.
