Kazakhstan's Air Astana airline presented its new tourist program 'Stop Over Holidays' in Baku, Azerbaijan March16.

This program is designed for passengers traveling from Europe and Asia or vice versa through Astana and Almaty.

Under this program, Air Astana can offer transit passengers a full package of services, including accommodation in Astana and Almaty hotels at discount prices, breakfast, transfer to and from the airport, free SIM-card, various excursions depending on the season, as well as discounts in the best restaurants of Astana and Almaty.

It is not necessary to create groups for arranging excursions in Astana, Almaty and their suburbs as this service can be rendered individually.

This program can be beneficial for Azerbaijani passengers while traveling to some Asian cities, according to the company's management. Air Astana has convenient flight connections to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, Seoul, Urumqi and Bishkek.

Air Astana airline has carried out flights since 2002 and currently, it has a fleet of 30 planes of western production with an average operating age of 5.7 years. The route network of the company includes over 60 international and regional destinations.

Almaty-Baku flights opened as seasonal charter flights in 2009 and became regular ones in a short time. With the increasing demand among businesses, Astana-Baku flight was launched in 2012. Currently, Air Astana carries out three flights from Astana and Almaty. The company transported 44,400 and 46,869 passengers on this route in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
