The 5th meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of states-participants of a Dialogue "Central Asia plus Japan" will be held in Bishkek July 16, "Kabar" News Agency reported.
Within the framework of the Ministerial Council of the Dialogue "Central Asia plus Japan", the foreign ministers of the participating countries will meet with President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev.
Dialogue is an important platform for cooperation between the Central Asian countries with Japan on issues of sustainable development, the expansion of trade and economic relations, as well as to discuss ways to counter new challenges and threats.
Within the Dialogue five main areas of cooperation between the countries of Central Asia and Japan are determined: political dialogue, inter-regional cooperation, Promotion business, intellectual dialogue, Cultural and Humanitarian Dialogue.
This year turns 10 years since the establishment of a regional platform for cooperation between Central Asian countries and Japan. Previous Dialogue meeting at the level of Foreign Ministers of the participating countries were held in Tokyo, Astana and Tashkent.
