An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale was recorded in Kyrgyzstan on August 14, Kazakhstan's Seismological Expedition of the Science Committee under Education and Science Ministry reported.
The earthquake occurred at 3:15 a.m. local time (August 13, 9: 15 p.m. Greenwich time), 534 kilometers to the south -west of the city of Almaty.
There is no information about victims or damage.
