Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade hosted a meeting with the delegation from Russia on September 25, Uzreport news agency reported.
The Russian delegation was headed by the Director of the Department of Cooperation with the Customs Union and Economic Cooperation with the CIS of the Economic Development Ministry Alexander Tsybulsky.
Within the talks the parties discussed the prospects of expanding of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The sides also exchanged views on the agenda of the forthcoming meeting of the bilateral intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation which will be held in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent.
