The P5+1 has reviewed the list of Iranian officials being asked for interviews in connection with the country's disputed nuclear program, Mohammad Saleh Jokar, an Iranian lawmaker said.

Jokar, who is a member of the Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said that eight people were excluded from the former 23 people interview list.

The people whose names were deleted from the P5+1(the US, UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany) list are mainly Iranian military commanders, Jokar said, Iran 's Fars news agency reported June 18.

He also said the Iranian parliament will never permit the 15 people who were being asked for interviews "to be interrogated" by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors.

Earlier Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani said that his name was first on the list of those the P5+1 had requested to interview.

It's not clear what questions they have, Shamkhani said, adding the list includes 23 officials and experts of the country.

The P5+1 are in intense talks to hammer out a comprehensive nuclear deal with Iran by the end of June. The deal is supposed to limit Iran 's nuclear activities on one hand and on the other, remove sanctions on the country's economy.

Along with having the IAEA inspect Iran 's military sites, the interviews with the Iranian officials and nuclear scientists are two items requested by the six powers as a precondition for making a deal with Iran.

Iran has so far resisted the requests by saying they fall beyond the normal scope of its cooperation with the IAEA.
