Iran has serious doubt about U.S. intention to combat terrorism, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian, said.

In a meeting in Tehran with Tsukasa Uemura, director-general for Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau at Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amir Abdollahian added that Iran sees serious contradiction in U.S. approach toward the issue of combating terrorism in the region, Iran's Fars news agency reported on November 2.

The U.S. and its allies show contradictory behavior dealing with conflicts in Syria as well as ISIS, Amir Abdollahian said.

Uemura, for his part, referred to instability in the Middle East as a threat for the whole world, adding that Japan will continue its humanitarian aids to Syria and Lebanon.
