Mehdi Hashemi, son of the former Iranian President Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani was sentenced to prison and fined.
The court has issued its verdict on the case, including 15 years prison and fine, Iran's Fars news agency reported March 15.
The issued sentence is tentative and can be appealed for a review within 20 days from the date of issuance.
The trial of Hashemi, who is being accused of corruption and country's security breach started last August in the Tehran Revolutionary Court behind closed doors.
Hashemi has been released on bail after three months of imprisonment in December 2012.
The son of the Iranian ex-president was arrested upon his arrival in Tehran from the UK, where he lived for three years. Hashemi was arrested on charges of propaganda against the state and corruption.
