A consultations plan on urgent bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues was signed today between the Georgian and Ukrainian foreign ministries.

The plan for 2011-2012 was signed by the two foreign ministers.

A closed meeting was held between Grigol Vashadze and Konstantin Grishchenko. They discussed developing and intensifying the ties between the two countries.

After a joint press-conference, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze discussed a wide range of issues, including cooperation in political, economic and transport sectors and the regional situation.

The minister also expressed gratitude to Ukraine for its support of the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
