A trilateral meeting of foreign ministers of Turkey, Iran and Azerbaijan in Nakhchivan ended with the adoption of the final document - declaration.

On Wednesday, the three countries' foreign ministers Elmar Mammadyarov, Ali Akbar Salehi and Ahmet Davutoglu held a trilateral meeting, during which they discussed issues of mutual interest to all three states, including - the peaceful settlement of current conflicts in the region and necessity to create favorable conditions to achieve this goal. The ministers also discussed measures to implement joint projects in the interest of establishing stability and prosperity in the region.

"Meetings were held at the bilateral and trilateral format, the Nakhchivan Declaration was signed following them, which expresses support for the processes in the region. The sides agreed to continue dialogue not only at the level of foreign ministers, but also in the spheres of economic development, transport, tourism, culture and energy," Mammadyarov said commenting on the outcome of the meeting.

He said very important and efficient negotiations for all three sides were held.

The next meeting of the three countries' foreign ministers will be held in the Turkish Van city, Mammadyarov told journalists.
